AYLL will be hosting its 1st annual 7v7 Summer League.  This league will give boys throughout Austin (in ANY rec. program) the opportunity to play and develop in a fun, fast-paced environment.  The goal is to schedule 6 games for every team, one game per week.  Weather cancellations may occur and we will use best efforts to schedule make-up games.

LOCATION

Games will be played at Chalmers and McEachern Field

DATES

The league will play games at 7PM, 7:45PM and 8:30PM on Wednesday Nights in June and July.

DIVISIONS

This year we will host 3 separate divisions:

• Lightning - Rising 3rd and 4th graders (Classes 2035, 2036)
• Juniors - Rising 5th and 6th graders (Classes 2033, 2034)
• Seniors - Rising 7th and 8th graders (Classes 2031, 2032)

Divisions will be capped - players will be accepted on a first come + payment, first serve basis.

TEAMS

We will use the 'free agent' model where your son will be randomly placed on a team, with a coach. Requests for team switches will not be entertained by the league commissioner.

COST

The cost per Youth player will be $250

You will receive a team reversible.

RULES

Rules of this 7v7 format are as follows:

• 18 minute running halves, 4 minute half-time, 5 minutes between games
• 1 timeout per half (not under 4mins left in the game). Clock remains running
• Substitutions on the fly (no dead balls)
• Penalties are served, normal time
• Maximum 2 long poles on the field at a time
• Face-off to start game and 2nd half
• Goalie restart after a goal is scored
• Mercy rule: Free clear when a team is up by 7 goals
• Braveheart for OT
• Ejections will be reviewed and can result in suspension from the league.
